    • Paste the domain URL in your WordPress and click the “Connect your Shopify store” button.

  • Allow ShopWP To Access Your Shopify Store: The next screen you see after connecting to your Shopify store is the requirement to allow ShopWP access to Shopify. Click “Install app” on the top right corner. This will take you back to your WordPress website, showing that you have successfully connected WordPress and Shopify.   • Configure Settings In Your Shopify Store For Your Products: After clicking for the next step, you will be required to configure the display settings depending on which WordPress page you need your products to appear on.   • Sync Your Products Between WordPress and Shopify: Still, on the WordPress connection page, switch to the “Sync” tab to activate actions like “Sync detail page” and “connect auto post syncing.” This will allow ShopWP to collect product details as you input new products into your Shopify store.

The “Buy Button” Method

The Buy Button app method is an alternative plugin on Shopify to connect your store to your WordPress account. The steps are as follows:

  • Log in to Shopify and go to the admin page.
  • Install The Buy Button App: On the admin page, click “ Apps” and search for the “Buy Button Channel app plugin. After installing Buy Button, You will be taken to the Buy Button interface on Shopify, where you click the “Create a Buy button” button. 
  • Create A Buy Button: You will be redirected to another page where you can either create a “product buy button” or “collection buy button.” For the sake of this guide, we will proceed with the “product buy button” option. With this option, you can select which of your products you want to add to WordPress.
  • Customize Product Button: The next screen you will see is a customization screen for the selected product. Pan to the left-side panel, where you will customize the elements of your button. You can choose a basic or full screen to show the full product display as well as the product description. You can also select the actions you want the button to perform when customers click on it. That means customers will either be redirected to the checkout page or add to cart page. 
  • Activate Your Buy Button To Go Live: Click next on the top right corner of the customize page. This will take you to the “Copy Code” page, where you copy the live button code and paste it into a new WordPress document. Click “Add New” on WordPress, or click on an existing draft in your WordPress posts. Type slash, search for “Custom HTML,” and paste the code you copied from the Buy Button.

  • Preview WordPress Post: When you preview your post, you will find a customized buy button with the selected product ready for conversion.
